Have a Raspberry Pi? Want a smartwatch? Why not make your Raspberry Pi into a Windows 98 smartwatch? Yes, sounds like the silliest thing (or most awesome thing?) in the world, and that’s exactly what 314Reactor did recently.

I won’t walk through too much of the nitty gritty here, but basically 314Reactor got an emulation of Windows 98 up and running on a Raspberry Pi, the cheap and affordable portable computer, using QEMU, some Python code and a bit of know-how.

Hack the planet!

It could make a fun weekend project, just for kicks, so hit the source to see how it’s done now.
