AT&T’s new unlimited plans, announced earlier this week, are now officially available for customers. There are two big ones to choose from, including an Unlimited Plus Plan and an Unlimited Choice Plan.
The Unlimited Plus is probably the one most of our readers want. It offers unlimited data each month (up to 22GB per line before it’s toggled to slower speeds as necessary), 10GB of tethering per line and a discount on DIRECTV, DIRECTV Now or AT&T U-Verse. The Unlimited Choice plan is cheaper but only offers data speeds up to 3Mbps, which isn’t something we recommend most folks sign up for.
AT&T’s website is allowing new customers to sign up for the plans now but it doesn’t appear to have the option for existing customers to switch over to the new plans just yet. That should change soon.
