Entertainment Earth is on the move with wooden cars at Toy Fair 2017

A visit with Entertainment Earth at a show is becoming an exercise in “What are you going to surprise me with that I didn’t know I needed?”

After visiting with the Entertainment Earth crew at San Diego Comic-Con last year, I wrote up how impressed I was with the fact they were making so many toys out of wood. In 2017, the company is going even further with not only more figures, but the new addition of vehicles as well.

The company is going to continue producing figures and its Tiki Tiki Totem line, but now your Pin Mates will be able to ride around in style thanks to the new vehicle line that will feature working tired. For the Guardians of the Galaxy, they will be able to jump in a  reproduction of the Milano. Batman will have his choice of a model resembling the blue Batmobile of yesteryear, or the formidable Tumbler. Wonder Woman won’t get any cool wheels, but she will have a white horse with a Themyscira backdrop.

Beyond our wooden friends, Entertainment Earth wants to take us to Twin Peaks and the Black Lodge. With Twin Peaks returning to Showtime this year, there seems to be a sudden interest again in Special Agent Dale Cooper and his friends. Prepare to pick up some handy lunch boxes, or a deck of playing cards in a Black Lodge tin. Perhaps you just want to take some notes on your cases in a notebook decorated to look like Cooper’s trusty tape recorder.

Just beware of people speaking backwards.

It’s going to be an interesting year for Entertainment Earth, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
