New GIFs help you learn sign language

by Todd Haselton | February 18, 2017February 18, 2017 6:00 am PDT

I mostly use Giphy for finding hilarious GIFs to send to friends across various chat platforms, but Giphy might have a much more useful purpose. The site recently launched an entire section dedicated to helping folks learn sign language.

There are now more than 2,000 sign language GIFs on Giphy that show you how to properly make signs using American Sign Language. They’re part of a section called “Sign with Robert” and have all sorts of subsections for learning days of the week, expressions, sports teams emergency signs and more. It’s pretty amazing.
