Honda will officially reveal the new Civic Type R during the Geneva Motor Show next month, Autoblog confirmed on Friday. Honda has teased the car with concepts and other unveils in the past, but this is the first time we’ll get a look at the stock version that will be offered to consumers. And, yes, the Civic Type R is also bound for the U.S.

The Geneva Motor Show runs March 9 to March 19, so we’ll get a look at the car in just under a month from now at the earliest. Autoblog said we can expect the car to pack a new 2.0-liter VTEC turbocharged engine. The car will reportedly enter production as soon as this summer.

I need me a Civic Type R

Color me interested in the Civic Type R ends up looking anything like the concepts above. The red accents, the sharp edges, the compact design — all appeal to me. The last Honda I owned was a 1999 Civic and I still miss driving it. Maybe a Type R is in my future.
