Blue Google Pixel now available to pre-order in the U.K.

The “Really Blue” Google Pixel is finally available to pre-order in the U.K., more than four months after the device initially went on sale. Both EE and Carphone Warehouse are now accepting pre-orders for the device, with delivery scheduled for February 24.

If you opt to get your handset on EE, prices start at £45.99 (approx. $57) per month for unlimited calls and texts and 7GB of super-speedy 4G data. If you want the larger Pixel XL, you’ll be paying £50.99 (approx. $63) per month for the same plan.

EE is also throwing in a free Google Daydream View VR headset worth £69.99 (approx. $87) with all Pixel purchases for a limited time, and its online store currently promises shipping within 7 days, either to your home or your local EE store.

You’ll pay a little less for the smaller Pixel with Carphone Warehouse, where plans start at £40.99 (approx. $51) per month. However, the Pixel XL is slightly more expensive, starting at £55.99 (approx. $70) with a £29.99 (approx. $37) upfront fee. It’s also worth noting that Carphone Warehouse isn’t offering the free Daydream View headset.

Replacing the Nexus lineup, Google’s Pixel handsets are first in line for its latest software updates, and offer a pure Android experience that’s free from third-party tweaks. They also boast speedy Snapdragon 821 processors, 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, and the best smartphone cameras available right now.
