The third competitive season of Overwatch is set to wrap up next week, and Blizzard’s officially detailed how that’ll go down.
Season 3 ends on Tuesday, February 21, at 4:00 p.m. PT. Competitive players will have a week off of comp as they prep for Season 4. Season 4 will start, if things stick to the current schedule, on Tuesday, February 28, at 4:00 p.m. PT.
Blizzard detailed the rewards for Season 3, too
Every player who played their 10 placement matches and were awarded a Skill Rating will receive Season 3 spray and player icon. If you managed to break into the top 500 player list at any point during the season, you’ll get a unique icon and animated spray, too.
Every gamer to play through placement will also receive a stack of Competitive Points based on where they wound up as the season ends. These points can be used to snap up those sweet, sweet golden weapons. Here’s the breakdown for rank and CP earned.
SR 1-1499 (Bronze): 100 CP
SR 1500-1999 (Silver): 200 CP
SR 2000-2499 (Gold): 400 CP
SR 2500-2999 (Platinum): 800 CP
SR 3000-3499 (Diamond): 1200 CP
SR 3500-3999 (Master): 2000 CP
SR 4000-5000 (Grandmaster): 3000 CP
Season 4 will bring changes, but Blizzard hasn’t announced what those will be yet. Once they do, we’ll let you know.
