Final Fantasy VII shows up at Japan’s annual snow sculpture festival

The Sapporo Snow Festival is an annual event held way up in the northern island of Hokkaido every February. Artists and engineers from around the country show off their brilliant ice sculpture creations to the public at Odori Park, Susukino and the Tsu Dome, and sometimes they get downright insane.

For example, how about this magnificent recreation of Cloud fighting Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII? The sculpture itself is unreasonably complex, but it also had an entire projection light show that goes with it!

I have a Final Attack Materia. I have a Phoenix Materia. Uhh… instant victory!

If Final Fantasy VII wasn’t cool enough how about a bit of Star Wars to try on for size?

Or… the PPAP guy…

Lord, save us all…
