It’s been difficult to find the Google Pixel and Pixel XL over the past few months. There was even a brief scare about production being halted completely. But—Happy Friday—there appears to be plenty of stock of both models through the Google Store—and even some stock at Best Buy.
If you have even the smallest interest in picking up the Pixel, now’s the time to act. Not only has stock been hard to come by, but shipping dates are slipping to 4-5 weeks depending on what screen size, color, and storage option you choose. That’s a long time to wait for a device that’s been out for a few months.
The really good news is the limited edition “Really Blue” is even in stock if you buy the smaller Pixel (only in 32GB). If you choose black or silver, you’ll have plenty of options, whether you go Pixel or Pixel XL. Our advice is to go with the Pixel XL because battery life is pretty phenomenal.
The Pixel XL in particular has been hard to find, so act fast. Thanks to its amazing camera, excellent battery life and fantastic software, the Google Pixel was our favorite phone of 2016. But with devices such as the Galaxy S8 and LG G6 on the horizon, that title might be in jeopardy.
