Rocket League is crossing over with Hot Wheels for DLC

Rocket League. Hot Wheels. I’m just shocked this hadn’t happened already, quite honestly, the two are an obvious pair.

Psyonix has announced premium DLC for Rocket League that features two unique cars, sold separately. The cars are the Hot Wheel classics, Bone Shaker and Twin Mill III.

Here are all the screenshots for the cars that we could gather:

The cars cost money, but there are some freebies coming for all

Even if you don’t buy into the DLC, you can score some Hot Wheels loot. In the random post-match drops, Psyonix will add the Hot Wheels Antenna and Topper, Treasure Hunt flag and Shark Bite topper all to the mix.

I might pick these up. My inner-kid wants them. Bone Shaker or Twin Mill, though? That’s a tough call.

Here’s the trailer with the reveal in motion. These cars will be available on February 21, 2017. They’ll each sell for $1.99.
