Mobius Final Fantasy launches for Steam with 4K resolution

Square Enix made good on its promise to bring another Final Fantasy game to Steam. As of today, the mobile free-to-play game Mobius Final Fantasy can be picked up through the online retailer.

This PC version of the game offers a few new bonuses that the original mobile version doesn’t. For example, it allows the game to run in landscape mode, whereas the original version can only be played while holding your phone vertically.

This Steam version also runs in 4K screen resolution at 60 fps, making it the first game in the series to do so without a boost in performance from the PS4 Pro.

Who put free-to-play in my Final Fantasy??

Yes, Mobius Final Fantasy does feature a “gacha” system where money can be used to randomly spawn powerful upgrades for your character. As with most “gacha” games, these can also be unlocked through extensive amounts of luck and playing; paying up isn’t the only way to advance this game.

Still, those who don’t mind dropping a few bucks to power up a little more quickly will have that option to do so.
