LG has already made it pretty clear its G6 will feature a bezel-less display. But, just in case you had your doubts, the Korean company released a new image making this point crystal clear.
One of the G6’s key features will be its 5.7-inch QHD+ display, which LG already confirmed will feature an 18:9 ratio. The image further impresses this point, showing off a “Big Screen That Fits.”
There have been rumors floating around claiming the handset will have a screen to bezel ratio that’s upwards of 90 percent. Seems the new image is more than happy to let people know that bezels are a thing of the past.
What’s most striking about LG’s new image is how easily the larger display fits in the hand. Traditionally, as screen size has gone up, so have device footprints. It seems the LG G6 will be svelte while still offering a “big screen that fits.”
While we’re expecting LG to announce the G6 later this month, a new rumor claims the device may not launch in the U.S. until April 7. Worse, a recent rumor said the G6 will come equipped with a Snapdragon 821, not the latest Snapdragon 835 chip supposedly coming in the Galaxy S8.
Other potential G6 features may include a dual-lens camera arrangement, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. We’ll learn more about the device when LG holds its event on February 26.
