Apple just released the second beta of iOS 10.3. The second beta follows hot on the heels of the first iOS 10.3 beta, which was released on January 24 and follows iOS 10.2 (pictured above.) After some digging, developers discovered that there are several changes coming in iOS 10.3
The biggest change is probably support for Find my AirPods, which lets owners of those headphones locate their headphones, so long as they’re within range. Also, developers will finally be able to respond to reviews left for their apps in the App Store, a big change that should help devs reach out to their community and address concerns much easier than ever before. Also, the weather app will support 3D Touch and other functions.
It’s not immediately clear what sorts of big changes are in the second beta of iOS 10.3 A feature called “Theater Mode” was originally rumored, though only made an appearance on a watchOS beta. It prevents the watch screen from waking up automatically, so a similar feature would probably act the same on an iPhone. We’ll let you know if any big changes appear in this beta.
