Finding stylish, attractive art that lets you show off your love of geeky stuff without looking like a 12-year-old screaming for your mom to get you some chocolate milk can be tough. I’m always on the lookout for ways to jazz up my place while still maintaining a tenuous grasp on my adulthood. These new prints from Cook & Becker might just fit the bill.
Bethesda has teamed up with the art dealer to release a collection of museum-grade giclee print reproductions of story and concept art from the game, according to a report from Games Beat.
The prints will be available in limited, hand-numbered editions, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Bethesda Game Studio’s senior concept artists.
Fallout is the perfect subject for art prints
“The design of the Fallout games stands out from other post-apocalyptic science fiction by juxtaposing 1950s optimistic ‘Space Age’ aesthetics with a dystopian universe design,” said Cook & Becker’s Ruben Brands in an official statement. “This generates strong tension between objects that look familiar, like brightly-painted and sleek cars evoking the 1950s and a dark backdrop of nuclear destruction. Of course the collection also offers prints from some of the iconic in-world brands such as Nuka Cola ads.”
Bethesda and Cook & Becker announced that they plan to team up for prints of some of Bethesda’s other games, so we can probably look forward to some Elder Scrolls and Dishonored art before too long, too.
As you might have guessed, these aren’t cheap, costing anywhere from $85 to $150. These prints are available now, and Cook & Becker also have prints from companies like Capcom, CD Projekt Red, and BioWare.
