Nioh (1)

Have you missed all the previous demo phases for Nioh on the PlayStation 4? Have you been reading about how this Dark Souls-meets-samurai title is set to rip us all a new one when it releases next month? Excited by it?

We have good news. Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo have announced a final demo for the game before its launch. It’s called “Last Chance Trial” and you can pre-load it on your PlayStation 4 now (hit the source link below for the demo’s page on the store).

The demo goes live on January 21 (this Saturday) and ends the next day. You’ll need to keep a connection in order to play the demo.

I’m all for free demos, and they’re getting more popular

Demos are starting to roll out for games at a regular pace these days. I don’t know if that’s because of game developers and publishers with increased confidence in their products or because of the need to stand out in a crowded marketplace.

Whatever the reason, demos are great for consumers. Try the games. Make up your mind. Make an informed purchase. Sounds good to me. Nioh launches on February 7, 2017.
