A full month and a half ahead of time, LG has sent out invites for an event scheduled for February 26. The invite heavily hints at a device with a display that features a wider viewing area. LG previously confirmed it would introduce a device with a QHD+ display and an 18:9 aspect ratio.

The display will measure and 5.7 inches and feature a sharper resolution of 2880 x 1440, which makes for 564 pixels-per-inch.

“QHD+ is expected to maximize users’ experience and value by providing ultra-high definition, differentiating it from all other mobile display panels,” explained Kim Byeong-koo, senior vice president and head of the mobile development at LG Display.

You can learn more about what kind of display LG’s G6 will include right here. In short, your eyes will be spoiled by the unique aspect ratio, which LG claims consumes less power than previous versions.

The event takes play on February 26 in Barcelona at 12 p.m. local time. We’ll be sure to hit you with the announcement as soon as it goes live.
