Spotify wants to hire President Obama as “President of Playlists”

Spotify recently posted a job listing seeking a “President of Playlists.” It’s basically a wide open offer for President Obama, since he’s the only one who fits the credentials listed by Spotify.

The listing calls for someone with at least eight years of experience running a highly-regarded nation,” “someone with good team spirit, excellent work ethic, a friendly and warm attitude, and a Nobel Peace Prize.” It also calls on someone who’s familiar with Spotify (President Obama is famous for his Spotify aptitude) and a person who is “nothing short of one of the greatest speakers of all time.”

There are some actual job responsibilities, of course. Spotify wants this person to provide leadership, create playlist ideas, analyze data and performance of playlists and celebrate playlist diversity. The President of Playlists will also have to attend daily briefings, naturally.

Obama actually joked about working for Spotify

Funny enough, Spotify actually created this job listing because, according to BBC, President Obama actually joked about going to work for Spotify. Maybe there’s a perfect fit?
