Nintendo Switch’s first-party games have slick and goofy box art

Behold! Your first glimpse at the Nintendo Switch’s first-party box-art. Nintendo uploaded five games to its website today, showing off a select few titles to help it ring in the new generation. The five games are The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, 1-2 Switch, Splatoon 2, and that ridiculous new fighting game Arms.

As much as I say it’s ridiculous, though, nothing compares with how silly that 1-2 Switch box art looks.

It’s important to remember that the games will not come on discs anymore, but rather, tiny game cards no larger than the ones found on the Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita. The boxes will be equally small… and adorable.

Big, bulky boxes taking up space on your shelves are a thing of the past. Nintendo… saving the world of plastic and saving you more room to cram in a few more games into your limited space.
