Honor 6X sold out in 25 minutes in the US

Honor might not be a household name in the US just yet, but it seems to have a pretty big following. Honor, the Huawei sub-brand, reached out via email on Thursday to note that its brand new smartphone, the  Honor 6X, sold out in record time. The Honor 6X was announced last week during CES 2017 and was available for just $199, down $50 from the standard retail price.

An Honor spokesperson told TechnoBuffalo that the device sold out during its initial flash sale in just 25 minutes. Honor wouldn’t share how many units were available, however. It’s unlikely, though possible, that very few were actually available to buy. That would make selling out pretty easy. But, like Apple, Honor won’t divulge that information.

“Either way, it is a huge success for Honor which entered the US a year ago,” Honor told us via email. “The Honor 6X will be replenished on January 18 and sold during a Flash Sale starting at 12pm CT.”

Set your reminders now if you want a chance to buy one during the sale next week.
