Rime is alive after all this time! No longer a PS4 exclusive

Back in 2013, Tequila Works debuted the first trailer for Rime, a PlayStation 4 exclusive with echoes of Wind Waker and Ico. It looked beautiful.

Then things went quiet. Tequila Works changed publishers to Grey Box and Six Foot, and kept working on the game. Now? IGN‘s stepped up to reveal Rime to the world once again through that special First series. We’ll see a lot more of this game over the next month, but here’s the newest, beautiful trailer.

The two-minute trailer reveals a game that looks like a blend of The WitnessLink’s AwakeningShadow of the Colossus and a lot more. It’s stunning, for sure, and it’s one that I’ll be keeping an eye on.

When will Rime release and for which platforms?

Right, Rime is no longer exclusive to the PlayStation 4. The game will now release in May of this year for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

We’ll have more on Rime as it comes.
