HTC Vive discounted by $100, free additional $100 gift code with purchase

Looking to make the leap into room-scale VR? HTC Vive is a great product, and most regard it as the best VR tech on the market today.

The problem? It’s a touch pricey with its standard $800 sticker.

The good news is that Microsoft is holding a post-Christmas sale for the VR set. You can snag the HTC Vive for $699 ($100 cheaper than usual), and Microsoft will throw in an additional $100 gift code to use at their store. The link to that deal is in the source section at the base of this post.

The bundle also comes with two free games: The Gallery – Episode 1: Call of the Starseed and Zombie Training Simulator. I know nothing about either, truthfully.

$700 is a lot, but the Vive is great

If you have the space for the full-room VR experience, the extra scratch and a PC capable of hosting the system, the HTC Vive is a fantastic virtual reality option. This discount should work well towards pushing you to pull the trigger. Again, hit the source link below for the sale.

If you do? Get Job Simulator. It’s fantastic.
