T-Mobile officially kicked off its buy one, get one (BOGO) deal on Thursday. It’s similar to AT&T’s BOGO deal in that you’ll get a second smartphone when you buy one, though it’s limited to the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S6-series devices, the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy J7.
Customers will need to add a new T-Mobile ONE line to their account in order to take advantage of the deal, so this is probably the best option for new customers or folks with growing families. One of the phones has to be purchased with an equipment installment plan. Also, you aren’t going to really just walk in the door and pay nothing for the second phone. Instead, you’ll need to send in a mail-in rebate, after which T-Mobile will send you a MasterCard. You’ll only need to drop the down payment, T-Mobile said, and you’ll get that reimbursed, too.
Open to all customers, even new ones
Not too shabby if you’re looking to save during the holidays. The deal kicks off now in T-Mobile stores, online and via the phone. The carrier is offering the option to new customers, who are also eligible for T-Mobile’s early termination fee promotion in which it’ll pay you up to $650 to switch carriers.
