Here’s a holiday surprise for all you gamers out there! PlayStation has announced that Gravity Rush 2 will see a demo on the PlayStation 4. When’s it coming? Tomorrow!

The demo comes ahead of a two-episode anime made by Studio Khara. That anime, called Gravity Rush – Overture, spans the gap between the original Gravity Rush and its sequel. It’s due on December 26 at 8:00 a.m. PT on YouTube.

As for the demo? It’ll be live, December 22, once the PlayStation Store updates. According to the PlayStation Blog, the demo features “two paths.”

…one for those who are new to Gravity Rush, and another for those that are more familiar with Kat’s powers — so no matter your level of gravity-defying experience, please be sure to give it a shot!

Gravity Rush was fantastic, and you need to try this demo

The original Gravity Rush launched on the PS Vita a few years back. I loved that game. I even dug the remastered version that hit the PlayStation 4 not too long ago, though the retread wasn’t perfect.

This new franchise, though, really is something special. The game has a lot of heart, and its characters and gameplay mechanics are fun in motion. Give the demo a crack. You won’t regret it.
