Nintendo has announced a preview tour for the Nintendo Switch that will follow its official reveal on January 12, 2017, in Japan. The new home and portable hybrid console will make its way to major cities across the U.S. and in Canada, and it’ll be at those locations for a few days.

The word comes from Nintendo by way of a press release that went around this morning. Here’s the list of currently scheduled cities, though it’s possible more could be added.

  • New York – Jan. 13-15
  • Toronto – Jan. 27-29
  • Washington, D.C. – Feb. 10-12
  • Chicago – Feb. 17-19
  • San Francisco – Feb. 24-26
  • Los Angeles – March 3-5

There are some explicit details here that you need to understand. The first two days of each stop will be for invited guests only. On the third day, Nintendo will open the event to the public. They note that “space is very limited,” and that “fans will be let in on a first-come, first-served basis.”

Your city not on the list for the Nintendo Switch Preview Tour? There’s another key way to see it.

Nintendo announced that the Nintendo Switch will also be present at a few fan conventions in the U.S., though the Austin event should be close to its release. Here’s the rundown from Nintendo.

In addition to these tour stops, Nintendo will bring Nintendo Switch and launch games to PAX South in San Antonio (Jan. 27-29), PAX East in Boston (March 10-12) and SXSW in Austin, Texas (March 16-18). Anyone that misses out on the Preview Tour can catch Nintendo Switch at one of these events.

Here’s hoping a stop in Philadelphia is added. Come on, Nintendo.
