Bastion is free on Xbox One for a limited time if you own the 360 version

Did you play Supergiant’s breakout hit Bastion when it released back in 2011? More specifically, did you play it on the Xbox 360? If so, you can get the Xbox One version of the game for free right now.

Just hit the source link below to head to Bastion‘s Xbox One store page if you want to make your purchase online. If you’re logged in and you own the 360 version, the $14.99 price point changes to “Free.”

The only catch is that this deal is good through January 1, 2017. After that, the $14.99 price point will return regardless of if you own the title on the 360 or not. Let this serve as a PSA, then! Get the game.

Bastion still holds up, and it looks great on the Xbox One

Supergiant managed to develop a game that sported a wonderfully timeless art style. Bastion will look good regardless of its age thanks to its hand-drawn aesthetic. The narrator, the gameplay and the story? That’s all great, too, so this thing will hold up indefinitely.

Get the game. Play it again. Wait a few years, then play it on your Scorpio. Why not?
