PlayStation Now adds its biggest game ever this week to the subscription service’s ever-expanding line-up. Rockstar’s masterpiece Red Dead Redemption and its stand-alone expansion Undead Nightmare are now available, and the announcement trailer is loaded with more memories than John Marston’s six-shooter.
Both games are playable on the PlayStation 4, PS Vita, PS TV, and PC along with 450 other games.
With a sequel on the way, there’s never been a better time to play Red Dead Redemption
Red Dead Redemption 2 was confirmed to be in development back in October, but we haven’t heard much from it since. If you are like me, a person who has only casual experience playing the first game, this could be your chance to finally dive back in and see what all the fuss is about.
Everyone loves it and it’s often considered one of the best, if not the best, game on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. My take? It’s no Mass Effect 2, but it’s worth another shot all these years later. Luckily, my PlayStation 3 still has the digital copy, so if I ever can get to the end of Noctis’ adventure, the wild west awaits me.
