Resident Evil 7‘s demo is once again calling with an important update that adds new content and VR support.
Over the weekend, the “Midnight” update added support for both the PlayStation VR and PlayStation 4 Pro, opening up new screen resolutions and HDR colors on the superior system. As for content, the demo now has a gun for the first time and a monster that it can be used against. Multiple endings are also available, giving players incentive to keep going back for more.
Best not play it too much, or you won’t play the actual game when it comes out!
Xbox and PC players finally get some love
Resident Evil 7’s demo has scored all kinds of praise from the PlayStation crowd, but Xbox and PC gamers have yet to get the chance to play it. That changes this month when it releases for the Xbox One on Dec. 9 and the PC on Dec. 19.
The full game launches for all three platforms on Jan. 24, 2017.
