Nintendo Switch will be available to play on Jan. 13 in New York

The next time Nintendo will officially speak about the Nintendo Switch will be on Jan. 13, 2017. In the broadcast, Nintendo is expected to announce games, a price, and an official launch date. After the event, several lucky players will be able to actually go hands-on with the console!

Nintendo will be holding the first hands-on preview event in New York City on Jan. 13. It is expected to take place after Nintendo of Japan broadcasts a special five-hour presentation for Japanese audiences and investors.

No location has been set just yet, but Nintendo says it “will further emphasize some of the details that Nintendo plans to announce.”

Is the Nintendo Store a possibility?

I don’t think it will ultimately matter where the event is held. Getting into a Nintendo private event is tough enough, so instead, I would ignore the cold New York City air, curl up under a nice blanket, watch Nintendo’s presentation, and wait like the rest of us. Play some Overwatch or wrap up Final Fantasy XV in the meantime.

We’re all in this together!
