OnePlus 3 will no longer be sold in the U.S. and Europe

OnePlus has decided it will no longer sell the OnePlus 3 in the U.S. and Europe. Its decision comes just days after it launched the OnePlus 3T, which offers a faster processor, more storage, and an upgraded front-facing camera.

The original OnePlus 3 made its debut just five months ago in these regions, which means it’s by no means past its best. Some fans were hoping that it would be discounted and remain available as a more affordable alternative to the OnePlus 3T.

However, now that an improved model is available at a very reasonable premium, it seems unlikely many customers will opt for the older model. With that in mind, OnePlus has discontinued the OnePlus 3 in these markets, which means it’s no longer available.

OnePlus 3T is a nice upgrade

The OnePlus 3T ships with the latest Snapdragon 821 processor, up to 128GB of internal storage, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It’s also compatible with more cellular bands, and comes in a new gunmetal color option — alongside the gorgeous gold.

In the U.S., the OnePlus 3T will sell for $439 when it goes on sale on November 22. That’s just $40 more than the original OnePlus 3.
