Meet the Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition. Nissan announced the limited edition package during a press conference at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week.
The Nissan Rogue is a natural fit for the new installment of the Star Wars franchise. After all, the names pair with each other so well. Each Limited Edition vehicle comes with Rogue One badging, special logo floormats, “Star Wars” illuminated kickplates, Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire logos in cupholders and interior accent lighting. The Rogues will be available in Magnetic Black and Glacier White, with charcoal interior for both. It also comes with an exclusive numbered, full-size replica Death Trooper helmet.
The special Star Wars touches are for the ultimate Star Wars fan and it will only set you back an extra $1,990 on top of the price of a “regular” 2017 Rogue SV with Sun and Sound Touring Package.
Just 5,000 will be available for buyers in the US and 400 in Canada.
Rogue One is coming and so is the marketing
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters next month and with it will come the Star Wars/Disney marketing engine. You won’t be able to escape the product tie-ins. But you won’t hear or read any complaints from me. Star Wars merchandising from The Force Awakens was really exciting and surely got a lot of fans waiting in line to pick up collectibles.
I’m really liking the Glacier white and blacked out grill, wheels and handles. It is like driving a giant Storm Trooper. Now the big question is how do I keep this car in pristine condition?
