The NES Classic is a hot item this coming holiday season, and everybody wants one. However, there’s going to be plenty of crying 35-year-old men sitting around the Christmas tree because buying one is going to be rather tough.
That’s why it’s best to leave your house and line up somewhere. Amazon will probably lose inventory fast this Friday afternoon when buyers flock to its digital shelves and try to pick up one of their own. Just to make it fair for everyone, Amazon has confirmed that the NES Classic will be made available from 2PM PT (5PM EST) this coming Friday.

Amazon is reporting “very limited quantities,” but more are expected in the coming weeks.
Don’t fear the Nintendo scalpers, well, too much
Best of all, we don’t have to worry about the nasty amiibo scalpers of the world. Amazon will only allow one NES Classic Edition per customer because that’s really all anyone really needs. If you need another for a gift, look elsewhere!
Good luck to everyone in the ensuing mad rush, but in all honesty, I hope I get one first!
