Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection video compares old and new versions

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is bringing the two most popular games in the series, and one nobody likes, into a new generation. Ubisoft’s latest trailer for the game offers a look at the graphical upgrades this new game provides.

The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One allow the games to crank out better draw distances, more detail in the character models, and a much richer color palette. I don’t remember Assassin’s Creed 2 being that gray.

Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me.

Enjoy going back to Assassin’s Creed II; I can’t

I fell out of step with the Assassin’s Creed games after grinding Assassin’s Creed II to 100 percent completion. It was a fun game, but to call that achievement exhausting would be an understatement. Because of it, I never got around to Brotherhood, meaning this package might have a bit of value to me.

Enough time has passed since I last enjoyed an Assassin’s Creed game. Maybe I’ll check this one out… after I wrap up Final Fantasy XV, of course.

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Nov. 15.
