All subtleties are going by the wayside as we get closer to the rumored OnePlus 3.
First, Qualcomm confirmed the upcoming handset would include a Snapdragon 821 chip. Now, OnePlus has chimed in, saying the processor will be clocked at 2.35GHz. Why’s that so important?
If you remember, the Google Pixel also comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 chip but keeps it clocked at 2.15GHz. The suggestion here is that the OnePlus’ device should be faster, making its upcoming device one of the most powerful on the market.
According to previous reports, the upcoming handset will be dubbed OnePlus 3T, and cost around $80 more than the existing OnePlus 3. One rumor also claimed the device will sport a better camera.
Mark November 15 on your calendar
At $399, the OnePlus 3 is one of the market’s best deals, offering a wonderful balance of design, software, and price. Although it’ll be more expensive, the OnePlus 3T looks like a calculated way for the Chinese company to flex its muscles while undercutting the Pixel, which starts at $649.
We’ll find out more details on Nov. 15, according to OnePlus, so stay tuned.
