Pixar just changed up the release dates for two of its most anticipated movies – Toy Story 4 and Incredible 2. Little has been said about the two films, particularly about Incredibles 2, which is following a predecessor that came out 12 years ago.
The two films swapped release dates, meaning The Incredibles 2 is hitting theaters a year early on June 15, 2018, while Toy Story 4 is being delayed by one year, getting the June 21, 2019, slot.
The synopsis for Toy Story 4 revolves around Woody and Bo Peep’s love story, a departure from the Andy storyline the previous three films focused on. Pixar has yet to release any details for Incredibles 2 other than saying Brad Bird will return to direct the sequel. John Lasseter will helm the fourth entry in the Toy Story franchise.
Once more details about the films are released, we’ll be sure to pass them along.
