At $399, the OnePlus 3 is still one of the market’s most affordable powerhouses. But what if OnePlus made the device even better?
We’ve been hearing rumors about OnePlus introducing the same device with a Snapdragon 821 chip, and one of the industry’s most reliable sources is further adding fuel to the future.
According to Evan Blass, the OnePlus 3T does indeed exist, and it sounds like only a matter of time before it’s released.
Blass says the upgraded model will cost an extra $80, putting the final price somewhere around $480, which is still more affordable than a lot of flagship devices.
It’s unclear what other internal changes OnePlus will introduce. As it is, the OnePlus is a beast, sporting a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 16-megapixel camera, 6GB of RAM, 3,000mAh battery, and 64GB of storage.

Adding a slightly upgraded processor doesn’t seem worthwhile for consumers, especially if they already own the OnePlus 3. However, we’ll wait for the device to actually release before we pass judgment.
We still don’t know when the OnePlus 3T will be released but with only a few months remaining in 2016, chances are it’ll be sooner rather than later.
