Apple just confirmed it will host a press conference on October 27. This is where we expect the company to unveil new MacBook Pro computers.

Rumor has it Apple’s new MacBook will not only offer the latest Intel processors, but also a thinner design — possibly at the cost of full-size USB ports. That might be hard to get used to for MacBook Pro users, who have typically gravitated to the laptop for the abundance of port options. Perhaps Apple will load up on USB-C ports instead.

OLED MacBook Pro

Apple is expected to outfit the new MacBook Pro with a special OLED panel above the keyboard that can be used for shortcuts, quick launch options and more.

It’s possible other Macs will be updated as well. The MacBook Air is definitely in need of a refresh, but so are the company’s Mac and iMac desktop computers. We’ll let you know what unfolds on October 27.
