New Galaxy Note 7 sales to begin in U.S. tomorrow

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 will be available to purchase for new buyers starting tomorrow. T-Mobile is the first carrier to announce availability, noting that stock will be available in stores and online.

The Galaxy Note 7 was recalled in early September and, later in the month, Samsung offered replacements to folks affected by the original recall. New units were not available to customers who hadn’t originally purchased the device, however. Fresh sales of the device started to resume in other markets such as South Korea on Monday.

T-Mobile reiterated that it will still swap out defective units for the new Galaxy Note 7, though the carrier suggested stock may be minimal, noting that it will offer temporary devices if there aren’t any Galaxy Note 7 units in-store.

We suspect other carriers, such as AT&T, Verizon and Sprint, will begin selling the Galaxy Note 7 to new customers soon, too.
