Batman v Superman: Check out these alternate weapon designs for Wonder Woman, Aquaman

Batman v Superman had its 15 minutes of fame back in March, but we’re still getting goodies months after its release. Robert McKinnon, who has worked on such films as Iron Man 3 and Captain America: Civil War, helped director Zack Snyder come up with the weapons used in Batman v Superman, including Aquaman’s Trident of Neptune and Wonder Woman’s Sword of Athena.

The images display plenty of really cool concepts, including Superman’s casket, the Bat signal, and the Man of Steel statue, which says “Nazi God,” rather than “False God.”

In Batman v Superman, we only get the briefest glimpse at Aquaman’s Trident of Neptune, a weapon that gives him the ability to manipulate and conjure water, as well as wield energy in the form of lightning bolts. Here, you can see some of the early designs that were considered before it popped up on screen.

You can check out a few of the designs in the gallery above, along with more at McKinnon’s website.
