iPhone 7 Plus won’t be in Verizon stores today

It’s going to be harder to find the Plus model of the iPhone this year. Apple already confirmed it won’t have any iPhone 7 Plus units in stock for walk-ins, now Verizon is sounding off with a similar message.

“Apple sent no iPhone 7 Plus to Verizon stores,” Verizon’s head of external communications Jeffrey Nelson said on Twitter this morning. “Get yours fastest – with estimated delivery date – here.”

Until now, we didn’t know that Apple had decided not to stock retail stores with the iPhone 7 Plus either. It’s possible other carriers, such as AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile, are in a similar situation. Folks who pre-ordered their devices should be fine, but don’t expect to find the iPhone 7 Plus in stock as a walk-in today.
