Apple wrapped up the iPhone 7 unveiling with a look at the new super-fast A10 Fusion procession designed to power the new smartphones.
The A10 Fusion is a 64-bit quad-core processor with 3.3 billion transistors, and two of the cores are high-efficiency for running low-power apps.. Apple says it’s 40 percent faster than the A9 and 120 times faster than the original iPhone. It also boasts 50 percent faster graphics than the A9.
Apple claims it can offer console-level gaming, and invited a game studio on stage to reveal a new take on The Wizard of Oz complete with hundreds of flying monkey’s onscreen.
The A10 Fusion will power the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus when they launch later this month.
