Xiaomi just announced the Redmi Note 4 this week, but we’ve still got our eyes on the upcoming Mi Note 2. The company’s next true flagship phone is expected to offer an uncompromising experience at an unbeatable price. Now we’re getting another look at the rumored Mi Note 2 and its curved display.
The images were spotted by GizChina and appear to show the Mi Note 2 in a very dark room. The illuminated display is clearly visible and there’s no denying the curved edges on the left and right side. However, the rest of the device is hidden in darkness.
The Mi Note 2 is expected to come in a cheaper variant with a flat display, and the company could offer the option between a 1080p or Quad HD display resolution as well. The phone is also rumored to pack a 5.7-inch or possibly a 5.5-inch display, a Snapdragon 821 processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It may feature a fingerprint scanner in front and dual rear cameras.
We still don’t know when Xiaomi will announce the Mi Note 2, though based on this latest leak the device could be ready to launch pretty soon. Rumor has it the company is prepping for another event early next month, but after unveiling the Redmi Note 4 so recently we may have to wait a little longer for the next device.
