Lenovo already offers a variety of Moto Mods for the Moto Z and Moto Z Force, but the company could have one more trick up its sleeve. We’re still waiting for the rumored Hasselblad camera accessory, and a fresh leak may offer our best look at the missing module.
Three new pictures published by Moto 3G appear to show the photography-focused Moto Mod in action. The first photo shows the Hasselblad module as it transforms the Moto Z into a pretty convincing camera. A second image shows the new Moto Mod on its own looking pretty chunky, and a third reveals it hanging with some of the models that are already available.
Hasselblad’s Moto Mod is expected to add a powerful camera to the Moto Z and Moto Z Force. It may also offer a 10x optical zoom, a Xenon flash, a rotating shutter button and a physical power button. We still don’t know how much it will cost, but, based on the current Moto Mod lineup, it could turn out be pretty pricey. Rumor has it Lenovo will unveil the new gadget at IFA 2016 next week, so we should know the final details pretty soon.
Thanks for the tip Timy!
