Nintendo throwing its own summer sale on the Wii U and 3DS

Nintendo’s official sales are never huge, but they happen so infrequently that you just feel tempted to pick something up to mark the occasion. Both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U are seeing price drops until Sept. 1, so no rush in getting your credit cards ready. Let’s see what’s available.

Nintendo 3DS

  • Super Mario Bros. 3 – $3.49
  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds – $27.99
  • Super Mario 3D Land – $20.99
  • Chibi Robo! Zip Lash – $20.99
  • Pushmo – $4.89
  • Harvest Moon: A New Beginning – $20.99
  • Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move – $6.99
  • Yumi’s Odd Odyssey – $13.99
  • Mighty Switch Force 2 – $4.19
  • Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse – $13.99

Wii U

  • Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash – $34.99
  • The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglas – $6.99
  • Super Mario Galaxy – $13.99
  • Zelda II – The Adventure of Link – $3.49
  • Super Mario Bros. – $3.49
  • Yoshi’s Island DS – $6.99
  • Rayman Legends – $19.99
  • Dr. Luigi – $10.49
  • Mighty Switch Force 2 – $4.19
  • Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse – $13.99

There are a few other odds and ends as well, like indie games and licensed games. Nicalis’ entire line-up is available cheaply as well in an entirely different sale, and who can resist the charms of Cave Story?

From the Nintendo sale, though, I give all my love to the Nintendo 3DS with games like Super Mario 3D Land, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Pushmo, and the one and only Super Mario Bros. 3. Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse can also hang with the best of them.
