Amazon Prime Now delivers car test drives

Amazon Prime Now already offers quick deliveries for thousands of different products from household essentials to restaurant meals. Now the company is expanding its service in a surprising direction by adding the option to test drive a new car through Amazon.

The newest perk is limited to just Los Angeles and Orange Country for now, and the only car available is the 2017 Hyundai Elantra. If you’re interested you can sign up for a 45 to 60-minute test drive. Rides are limited to the weekends, and available from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Once you’re all set up a trained professional will show up at your home (or wherever you want to meet) at the time you choose. They’ll guide you through the drive and then help you find a nearby dealership if you decide to buy the car.

For now, these test drives seem like of an experiment or even just a short term promotion. Amazon hasn’t said if it plans to expand to other parts of the country or offer different cars to test drive. It’s possible that could happen, but it may depend on how much interest the company sees in this initial launch.

If you meet all the qualifications and want to test drive Amazon’s new service now hit the source link below to sign up.
