Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 7 is finally available to pre-order in the U.K. ahead of its official debut in the coming weeks. Both carriers and retailers are offering the device, and some are offering a free Gear VR headset with early delivery.
O2, Three, and Vodafone are now offering the Galaxy Note 7 on contract, while EE is expected to make the device available later today. Carphone Warehouse is also accepting pre-orders for pay monthly customers.
It’s a little more difficult to get hold of the Galaxy Note 7 if you want to pay for the device upfront and avoid the contract. Carphone Warehouse isn’t yet offering it SIM-free, while Samsung’s website still says the device is “out of stock.”
Other retailers like Clove, MobileFun, and Unlocked Mobiles are taking SIM-free orders with prices starting at £675 (approx. $877), but while many carriers are promising early deliveries, these retailers are advertising early September release dates.
It seems the Blue Coral and Black Onyx versions of the Galaxy Note 7 are the easiest to get hold of in the U.K. right now, and almost all carriers are offering a free Gear VR headset when you pre-order.
