Earlier this morning, Bloomberg published a report discussing updates to the new MacBook Pro, but it also gives us a very important date. It’s written by Mark Gurman, who is usually spot-on with his Apple reporting, and, in it, he names a date for the iPhone 7 event. Apparently Apple is planning to host it on September 7, according to Gurman.
The good news is that’s when we should expect the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, in addition to new details on iOS 10. The bad news, as we discuss in a separate report, is that Apple apparently won’t be showing its new MacBook Pro off at that event, which means folks are going to need to wait even longer for that debut.
Mark September 7 on the calendar, though. It’s going to be a busy one, since Sony just said it’s also hosting an event that day, when we expect it to debut the PlayStation 4 Neo.
