It won’t cost quite as much to pick up Apple’s larger iPad Pro. Nine months after the device went on sale, Apple is finally offering refurbished units, taking as much as 15 percent off of the regular price.
The cheapest model currently being offered by Apple is $679 for the 32GB Wi-Fi-only, a savings of $120. That essentially makes the Apple Pencil free, which is pretty much a must if you want to use the iPad Pro to its fullest abilities. Going down the refurbished route isn’t a bad idea if you’re looking to save a few bucks.
If you want more storage, the 128GB Wi-Fi-only model is $809, saving buyers $140 off the full retail price. There are cellular models, too, but that extra perk will cost you.
The nice thing about buying a refurbished gadget from Apple is you get a one year warranty, plus a new battery and fresh packaging. Yes, it has been used by someone else but it’s good as new by the time it reaches your hands.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Apple is offering refurbished units of the 9.7-inch iPad Pro just yet, although that only just came out earlier this year.
