HTC 10 buyers get free JBL Reflect Aware C USB headphones ($200 value)

HTC announced on Monday that it is teaming up with JBL for the launch of the company’s new JBL Reflect Aware C USB-C headphones. JBL says they’re the first USB-C sport headphones in the world, and HTC is bundling them for free with new HTC 10 purchases.

That’s a solid deal, considering that JBL is selling the headphones now for $199. JBL promises “best-in-class” noise cancellation, comfortable ergonomics, a sweat-proof design and, true to its name, “highly reflective” cabling that should help protect joggers and bikers at night. The headphones are available in black and white and will be sold exclusively by HTC until “early 2017.”

The deal gets even sweeter if you’re in the market for a new HTC 10. HTC said that in addition to offering up a free pair of JBL Reflect Aware C headphones, it’s also offering customers an additional $100 in credit for HTC accessories. You can’t use that for HTC Vive or HTC Vive accessories, but anything else is fair game. The deal is good between now and August 31, or while supplies last.
