The Apple Watch is definitely due for an upgrade, and a new report claims the Cupertino company will launch two new Apple Watches this year. The company is apparently set to launch the Apple Watch 2 and a second more minor upgrade in the second half of 2016.

In a recent note obtained by AppleInsider, KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the watches will feature the same basic design as the original Apple Watch with improved water resistance and some upgraded internal hardware. The Apple Watch 2 will reportedly offer a larger battery, GPS and a barometer for more accurate geo-location tracking.

The Apple Watch will boast an LTE connection and a refreshed look in 2017, Kuo predicts. In 2018, the company will reportedly roll out a more drastic redesign with improved health and fitness capabilities.
