Gurumin 3D will only get a digital release on Nintendo 3DS

You’re going to have to embrace the digital revolution if you want to play Gurumin 3D: A Monstrous Adventure on the Nintendo 3DS. Publisher Mastiff has confirmed on its Ask.fm page that it will be “targeting” the digital release for both the Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS eShops.

We don’t have an exact date, but we are still targeting late summer for the release of Gurumin 3D: A Monstrous Adventure on the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

Gurumin is a cult-classic PSP title from The Legend of Heroes and Ys developer Nihon Falcom. Fans often compare it to a light-hearted Legend of Zelda title. Because of how little known it is and how Mastiff isn’t a ridiculously large company, a digital-only release makes a lot of sense. Expensive cartridges would be really difficult to break even let alone profit from.

Come! Embrace the dark side! Digital gaming isn’t all that bad. Gurumin 3D will be released for the Nintendo 3DS later this summer.
